Tips on preparing your content
- Make sure it takes account of your target audience- including non medics and members of other specialties
- Keep it simple with bite-size messages – don’t crowd the slide
- Structure it into 3 parts e.g. past, present, future; problem, solution, conclusions
- Consider repeating a slogan to stress your main take-home message
- Use visuals but keep graphs and tables simple
- Remember the three ‘E’s – Energy, Excitement, Enthusiasm
